Model SIC12V30U. Works with every Sodion Energy 12V product.

From a 220 V outlet it delivers 30 A at 13.6 V, stepping through constant‑current, constant‑voltage and taper on its own.

The indicator turns red while charging and green when the pack is full.

Packs also charge from a vehicle’s alternator. This charger is for bench charging, top‑ups and stationary systems.

Common questions

Which batteries does it charge?

Every Sodion Energy 12V product. One charger covers Prometheus II, Argus and the 12V packs, so a mixed fleet needs one part number rather than several.

How long does a charge take?

It delivers 30 A at 13.6 V, so the time follows the pack: a 90Ah Prometheus II from flat is a few hours, a 210Ah Argus proportionally longer.

Does it need to be watched?

No. It steps through constant‑current, constant‑voltage and taper on its own, and the indicator turns red while charging and green when the pack is full.

Is a charger needed for a vehicle installation?

Not for normal running. Packs charge from the alternator. This charger is for bench charging, top‑ups and stationary systems.

What supply does it run from?

A 220 V AC outlet at 50–60 Hz, drawing 408 W at full output.

Where this fits

Prometheus II

The 12V platform the charger is built around: a starter battery for SLI duty and selected general 12V storage.
