Fitting Prometheus II
All three capacities ship in standard DIN sizes with L-type (left positive) terminals, so the swap is usually just a battery swap. The 30Ah pack uses a DIN 30 tray (34B19 JIS), the 60Ah uses DIN 60 (55D23 JIS), and the 90Ah uses DIN 100 (60038). If your vehicle uses R-type (right positive) terminals, confirm compatibility with us before ordering.
Each pack charges from the vehicle’s existing alternator. For bench charging or standalone top-ups, all three capacities are compatible with the SIC12V30U universal charger.

What tray size does Prometheus II need?
It depends on capacity. The 30Ah pack uses a DIN 30 (34B19 JIS) tray, the 60Ah uses DIN 60 (55D23 JIS), and the 90Ah uses DIN 100 (60038). All three ship with L-type (left positive) terminals; confirm terminal polarity before fitting an R-type vehicle.
What charger does Prometheus II use?
All three capacities charge from the vehicle's existing alternator and are compatible with the SIC12V30U universal charger for bench charging or top-ups.
How long does Prometheus II last?
Each pack is rated for 3,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge under standard test conditions, which in real-world starter duty translates to the 2 to 3 times longer service life sodium-ion delivers over typical lead-acid.
Is Prometheus II a drop-in replacement for my current battery?
