Sodium-ion starter batteries for cars and fleets

A sodium-ion starter battery does the SLI job (starting, lighting, ignition) in the same tray as the lead-acid or AGM battery it replaces, and charges from the existing alternator. The difference shows up over time: rated to 70°C, so engine-bay heat doesn’t kill it early, and 2–3× the service life, so a fleet stops buying batteries every 18 months. Sodium-ion forklift and AGV batteries

Material handling is where lead-acid costs the most to keep alive: watering schedules, equalising charges, acid-safe charging rooms, spare battery fleets. A sodium-ion forklift battery takes rapid opportunity charge during natural breaks, needs none of the acid maintenance, and carries no lithium fire risk indoors. Sodium-ion UPS and backup power batteries

Backup strings age in hot equipment rooms whether they cycle or not, and lead-acid ages fastest. A sodium-ion UPS battery holds its rated runtime in heat and humidity, supports up to 0.5C backup loads with deep-discharge capability, and avoids the fire-safety questions lithium raises in occupied buildings. Defence and security

Field duty combines every battery stress at once: heat, humidity, vibration, long idle periods. Sodium-ion handles them without lead-acid’s fragility or lithium’s fire-risk management, at up to 60% less weight. Military-grade builds are covered on the defence page.
